1) go to path /etc/rc.d
type : vi rc.netaddress.up
2) press insert button
3)add -net destination netmask subnetmask gw gateway dev deviceinterface
Ex: add route: route add -net 10.9.XXX.XX netmask 255.255.255.0 gw 192.168.X.XX eth1

I was very impressed with how easy it was to add a static route in Smoothwall Firewall. The interface was intuitive and the instructions were clear.Tech Info I was able to quickly add a route to the firewall with no problems. It's great to have such a powerful and easy-to-use tool to manage my network.
